• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1960–$2230 per week
• Schedule Options:
  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days, alternating weekends and holidays (40 hours/week)
  • Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, alternating weekends and holidays (40 hours/week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Date: August 11, 2025

Qualifications – Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• ASCP or AMT Board Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required (within first year if not already certified)
• Current certification maintained per certifying agency guidelines
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and as part of a clinical team
• Willingness to relocate to Dixon, IL (Illinois laboratory jobs)
• Must pass all required drug screenings (drug-free campus)

Responsibilities – Lab Tech / Clinical Laboratory Scientist

• Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Assess and verify test results for accuracy; report findings to healthcare providers
• Conduct preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
• Collect blood and other specimens from patients of all ages as needed
• Document and evaluate quality control and calibration procedures, addressing any abnormalities
• Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, following infection control and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in training new laboratory staff and students
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new laboratory equipment and procedures
• Communicate effectively with laboratory management, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals
