Howard Grote and Sons Inc. is a well-established painting contractor known for delivering top-notch commercial painting services. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Wallpaper Hanger/Painter with at least 5 years of experience to join our team and contribute to our continued success
Job Description:
As an experienced Wallpaper Hanger/Painter, you will be responsible for performing high-quality work on various projects.
Your duties will include:
- Measure and cut wallpaper to fit walls and ceilings
- Apply adhesive and hang wallpaper with precision
- Work with vinyl and mural wallpapers
- Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Mixing and matching paint colors to achieve desired results
- Ensuring all work meets our quality standards and client specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following all HGS safety protocols and company handbook policies
- Communicating effectively with team members and Project managers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a wallpaper hanger
- Familiarity with different types of wallpaper and adhesives
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum of 5 years of professional painting experience
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
