Office Clerk
Location: Lake Villa, IL
Job Type: Temporary (3–4 weeks, possibly longer)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
● Monday – Friday
● 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
● 30-minute unpaid lunch
● Two 15-minute paid breaks Position Overview:
The Office Clerk will support daily administrative operations for a busy bathroom and remodeling services company. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3–4 weeks, with the potential to extend based on business needs. Responsibilities of an Office Clerk:
● Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
● Provide general clerical and administrative office support
● Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
● Make outbound calls to provide order updates (script provided)
● Send emails to clients regarding project and order status
● Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned About You: The ideal candidate for the Office Clerk will have the following skills and experience:
● Previous clerical, data entry, or customer service experience preferred
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
● Comfortable making outbound calls
● Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry systems, Microsoft Office)
● Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
