CNC Process Engineer

This position plays a key role in developing, improving, and optimizing CNC machining processes for both current and future production programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience with CNC manufacturing, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements of the CNC Process Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience developing and improving CNC manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, fixtures, and process optimization
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Experience with Six Sigma, PMP, or Professional Engineer certifications is a plus
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities of the CNC Process Engineer

• Design and develop CNC manufacturing processes for new and existing components
• Create and implement cost-effective processes that meet quality and customer requirements
• Develop prototypes, evaluate results, and make process improvements as needed
• Create tooling, fixture, setup, and operational documentation for production
• Evaluate alternate manufacturing methods and recommend process enhancements
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on development projects
• Integrate new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives into existing operations
• Work with outside suppliers regarding tooling, equipment, and project requirements
• Develop and conduct training programs for team members on equipment operation and best practices

Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $100,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
