Senior Audit Associate

We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our collaborative public accounting team in Buffalo Grove, IL . As a Senior Audit Associate in Buffalo Grove , you will contribute to audits across multiple industries such as construction, manufacturing, technology, and M&A. You will manage key engagement components, coordinate team efforts, and ensure exceptional deliverables while strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion in Buffalo Grove .
• Collaborate with managers and leadership to deliver precise, timely, and high-quality client service.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, schedules, and audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience, including at least one busy season at the senior associate or supervisory level.
• Hands-on experience in audit and assurance services; familiarity with construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology, or M&A engagements preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software applications.
