As an Employee Experience Specialist at Flexera, you’ll play a key role in driving Flexera’s award-winning culture. Reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Experience and Communications, as part of the global People and Culture Team, you will help lead employee experience and recognition programs, support onboarding and Day-One experiences for North America–based employees, and execute internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned. Working closely with cross‑functional partners (including Benefits, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Talent Acquisition) you will manage and evolve our internal communication channels such as Microsoft Teams and the SharePoint intranet, leveraging modern tools including AI.

You will also support employer branding efforts, elevate key employee lifecycle “moments that matter,” and help keep score by supporting our employee engagement survey lifecycle through analysis and communications.



What you’ll work on:

  • Employee experience and recognition programs: Help lead programs that enhance the employee experience including recognition and employee events, both in person (Itasca office) and virtually

  • Onboarding communications and support: Provide “Day One” employee experience and onboarding support for our North America-based employees

  • Support our internal communications strategy by executing employee communications, such as includes monthly newsletters and ad hoc communications. In addition, collaborate with groups including Benefits, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering to communicate strategy and key initiatives

  • Channels: Manage and deploy best practices to our internal communications channels including MSFT Teams and Sharepoint Intranet, including leverage AI tools like agents

  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to further our employer brand as well as manage our employer branding sites like Glassdoor, “Great Place to Work” awards and Instagram.

  • Moments that Matter: Identify and communicate best practices around key employee lifecycle “moments that matter” (e.g., promotion, milestone anniversary, wedding, etc.)

  • Keep score: Support our Employee Engagement survey lifecycle including data analysis and communications

Experience Needed:

  • 3+ years of experience in Employee Experience, Internal Communications, HR, or People Operations, preferably in a dynamic, growing organization

  • Demonstrated ability to execute internal communications across channels (e.g., newsletters, announcements, campaigns) and manage platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint

  • Proven experience executing employee experience programs, including recognition, engagement initiatives, and employee events (in‑person and virtual)

  • Experience supporting employee engagement surveys and using data and insights to inform communications and program improvements is a plus
