Senior manager of clinical operations

About The Role The Senior Manager, Clinical Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing processes that support the onboarding and daily operations of clinical and non-clinical teams delivering virtual behavioral health care. This position plays a key role in ensuring clinicians are well-prepared, supported, and retained through a seamless and scalable onboarding experience. The Senior Manager will bring strong operational planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with clinical leaders, Medical Affairs, the COO, and other departments to drive clarity, efficiency, and quality across provider operations. This role is expected to adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining a high standard of support for both clinicians and patients. What You’ll Do- Own Pre-boarding (after hire and pre-screening is complete) & Day 1 Readiness: Own the end-to-end pre-boarding operations experience for clinical roles from start of pre-boarding through Day 1 readiness. Includes team coordination and connectedness inside Array, calendar coordination, systems provisioning (in partnership with IT), communications, administrative support and delivery of white glove experience.
- Own Onboarding (Day 1 start, Orientation through first 90-day ramp period): own the end-to-end onboarding operations experience for clinical roles. Includes team coordination and connectedness inside Array, calendar coordination, ensuring execution of orientation and operational plans, systems provisioning (in partnership with IT), administrative support and delivery of white glove experience. Ensures a successful ramp period.
- Ensure Array’s active clinicians function top of license in partnership with operational and Medical affairs teams. Includes focus on productivity, licensure and privileging operational planning, regulatory requirements for care delivery, scheduling management, administrative support tasks.
- Identify (in partnership with cross functional teams (Care Delivery, Ops, IT, Data, People, and Clinical Ops)) and implement process improvements to reduce friction, increase consistency, and improve onboarding experience and speed-to-productivity.
- Monitoring metrics for performance to ensure peak performance.
- Provider Support Enablement - Own response tracking systems, documentation, and cross functional coordination to ensure issue resolution for providers and identify recurring themes
- Participate in provider/partner transitions and management of new and existing provider and partner relationships.
- Participate in offboarding.
- Lead a team of clinical operations specialists to effectively and efficiently deliver on the department’s functions.
- Hire, train and mentor team personnel. Perform Performance management and career development with team members.
- Participate in strategic planning for department with executive and operational leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent work experience in healthcare
- 3–5 years experience in healthcare operations.
- Project management and coordination skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Experience improving or building processes and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Confident using data to guide your work, with enough analytical skill to uncover insights and drive improvements,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for simplifying complexity.
- A proactive, resourceful approach ability to identify gaps and take ownership to close them.

- Position is remote.
- Some travel for annual leadership retreats, team meetings, etc.

- The pay range for this role is $126,450 - $154,550 annually. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
