Job Summary

W e are seeking a skilled Crusher Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain crushing plant equipment used to prepare mine run rock as feedstock for beneficiation plants. This position involves equipment operation, maintenance duties, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Job Description

• Start and shut down crushers, conveyors, screens, and feeders from control panels.
• Monitor equipment operation and adjust material flow through various sections of the plant.
  
• Distribute crushed product using stacking conveyors, chutes, and related systems.
  
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning spills, replacing wear parts, and maintaining screen cloths.
  
• Maintain walkways, stairs, guards, and the control room in clean and working condition.
  
• Conduct basic mechanical tasks such as: Replacing motors and pulleys, Changing gearboxes and crusher components, Splicing conveyor belts and elevator chains
  
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Shift: 6am - 6pm

S kills Required

• Perform heavy manual labor (e.g., shoveling, sweeping, using hand tools).
• Lift and carry tools and materials.
  
• Repetitive use of hands and arms operating equipment and tools.
  
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  
• Enter confined spaces with restricted access.
  
• Work at heights on bins, structures, or buildings.
  
• Navigate stairs, slopes, and inclines with or without aids.
  
• Work variable schedules including night and graveyard shifts.

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $25 per hour and higher depending on experience

• Report any unsafe conditions, near-misses, injuries, or property damage to a supervisor.
  
• Participate in all mandatory HSE training, drills, and performance development activities.
