Paste Dumper
Position Overview
The Paste Dumper is responsible for maintaining a steady supply of paste to the kitchen for batching operations. This position operates a forklift to move and dump bins of paste, rinse out bins, and ensure consistent product flow for production.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Read and interpret production schedules to determine paste requirements.
Communicate with cooks and batching personnel to coordinate paste usage.
Identify, verify, and inspect paste quality before use; report issues to Quality.
Complete quality checks and record results according to established procedures.
Operate forklifts safely to load and unload paste bins.
Operate and troubleshoot lifts, blenders, and related equipment.
Spray out and rinse paste bins using metered water; add water to blenders as needed.
Tear down boxes and use vacuum lifts to move pallets.
Assist with changeovers and water tank rinses as needed.
Participate in research and development activities, including product trials, material changes, or formula updates.
Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and complete required safety training.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with mechanical assist.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills for completing documentation.
Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of processing equipment.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Work Environment
Clean, climate-controlled food manufacturing facility.
Required to follow GMPs and wear protective gear such as hairnets, gloves, eye, and ear protection.
Work involves standing, walking, lifting, and occasional climbing or crouching.
Exposure to moving machinery, noise, and variable temperatures.
Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and teamwork.
