Aesthetician - Nfuze Wellness
This position shall provide a wide range of primary, acute and specialty aesthetic services, both autonomously and in partnership with other healthcare professionals at the facility. These services include managing a patient’s overall care and working with collaborative medical professionals. The Aesthetician shall meet with patients and execute a care plan developed by the Nurse Practitioner and/or CEO, perform multi-disciplinary treatments, perform appropriate intervention and document complete patient history.
Range listed is approximation as this is a commission pay based position.
DUTIES
1. Meet with patients and execute a care plan
2. Performs all applicable treatments scheduled for patients to the highest standards and according to the standards set forth in the Employee Handbook
3. Responsible for developing a strong and trusting relationship with patient while ensuring patient satisfaction with service and answering their concerns
4. Accurately charts all appointments, directly following treatments performed. Refers to all history prior to executing appointments
5. Follow-up correspondence with patients following procedures/treatments, as necessary
6. Determines personal training, certification and educational needs and communicates those needs to manager
7. Attends events and promotional activities as directed by management
8. Educates patients on menu of services available and makes customized recommendations
9. Educates patients on the current promotions, events and rewards programs available to the patient
10. Informs patient of skincare products available and makes recommendations to them based upon patient’s skin type
11. Communicates openly and regularly with clinical staff to ensure treatment consistency
12. Performs daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
13. Promptly informs management of any patient complaints or concerns
14. Generates management-approved social media content as schedule allows
15. Works with Staff regarding any scheduling needs
16. Performs additional miscellaneous tasks as determined by management
17. Understands that time periods which do not include appointments should be spent in a productive manner
18. Reports any malfunction of equipment immediately to Owner
QUALIFICATIONS
1. 3-5 Years of hands-on experience preferred
2. Degree from an accredited aesthetic program
3. Licensure in the state of Illinois
4. Capacity to work in a fast-paced medical environment
5. Proficient with medical instruments and medical equipment
6. Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point of interview technology
7. Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with retail and medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, Nurse Practitioners and representatives of the community
8. Ability to ensure confidential nature of the patient/provider relationship
9. Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPPA
10. Knowledge of disease prevention from a functional medicine perspective
11. Work demand is medium to heavy lifting and carrying of equipment, supplies and materials of up to 50 pounds without assistance is common.
12. Requires standing and equipment use for long periods of time
13. Ability to communicate with a diverse patient population
14. Requires flexibility with respect to hours worked; one must be able to accommodate early morning, late evening and weekend shifts
