Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Lake Forest, IL. Candidate must have strong expertise in Delinea Secret Server and Privilege Manager with the capability to lead end‑to‑end PAM architecture and secure privileged identities across hybrid environments.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Leading end‑to‑end architecture and rollout of Delinea Secret Server and Privilege Manager across on‑prem and cloud environments.

• Implementing secret lifecycle workflows (heartbeat, RPC, check‑out/check‑in) and secure remote access patterns for internal admins and vendors.

• Configuring endpoint privilege policies to enforce least privilege, eliminate standing access, and control elevation for administrative tasks.

• Integrating Delinea with AD/Azure AD, Azure PIM, SIEM (e.g., Sentinel), and ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow) to enable automated provisioning and governance.

• Automating onboarding and discovery of unmanaged accounts and credentials using PowerShell/Python and Delinea APIs, with reporting via SQL.

• Monitoring and auditing high‑risk sessions (recording/proxy), generating compliance reports, and driving remediation of privileged access findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

• 6–8+ years in IAM/PAM, including 5+ years dedicated to IAM and 3+ years specifically on Delinea (Thycotic).

• Candidate must have deep technical mastery of Delinea Secret Server (distributed engines, secret policies, RPC, heartbeat) and Privilege Manager (application control, elevation, least privilege).

• Candidate must have the capability to architect and scale Delinea deployments and integrate with AD/Azure AD, Azure PIM, SIEM (e.g., Sentinel), and ServiceNow, with automation via PowerShell/Python and reporting using SQL.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
