Property Assistant

LaSalle Network is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to identify a Property Assistant for an open-ended temporary opportunity in Calumet City, IL. This individual will play a critical role supporting the daily operations of an affordable housing community, ensuring residents receive exceptional service while assisting with property management responsibilities.

• Support the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing property

• Serve as a key point of contact for residents and assist with resident relations

• Partner with onsite staff to address resident concerns and operational priorities

• Monitor and follow up on work orders and maintenance requests

• Assist with affordable housing compliance and documentation requirements

• Support property management activities, including inspections, reporting, and administrative tasks

• Help ensure the property operates efficiently and remains in compliance with applicable regulations

• Collaborate with leadership on ongoing property needs and initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous property management, assistant property management, or affordable housing experience preferred

• Strong customer service and resident relations skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with affordable housing programs or compliance requirements is a plus
