About Us
Nextsulting is a Yorkville-based digital marketing and web development agency serving clients across amusement parks, multifamily real estate, healthcare, and nonprofits. We're a small, tight-knit team in growth mode, and we're looking for a hands-on, responsible right-hand to help us scale the next chapter.
The Role
This is a true generalist marketing and operations role for someone who likes variety, problem-solving, and getting things done. You'll own day-to-day execution across our social media programs, do hands-on design and content work, help keep projects moving across the agency, and be the in-office bridge between our president and the rest of our team, including a contract designer and a virtual assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain social media content calendars for clients across multiple industries
- Execute social media posting and scheduling through Sprout Social across 20+ locations
- Coordinate with client contacts to gather content, get approvals, and stay ahead of deadlines
- Create simple-to-polished social media graphics in Canva using established brand templates
- Use Photoshop for image editing, touch-ups, and design work outside Canva
- Make edits, content updates, and basic troubleshooting in WordPress (Elementor, Divi)
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with our contract designer to brief creative work
- Bridge between our president and our virtual assistant for task handoffs and follow-through
- Pick up small project work that frees up our president for higher-level strategy and client work
- Learn and grow into CRM tools like HighLevel as the role expands
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 5+ years of marketing, agency, or related operations experience
- Strong social media program experience, calendar planning, content workflows, multi-account posting
- Canva proficiency for fast social media design execution
- Photoshop proficiency for image editing and design polish
- WordPress proficiency, not deep technical, but comfortable making content edits, layout adjustments, and basic troubleshooting (Elementor or Divi experience helpful)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong time management and the discipline to consistently hit deadlines
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-directed
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and willing to learn new tools
- In-office full-time in Yorkville, IL
Nice-to-haves:
- Proficiency in HighLevel or similar CRM platforms (we'll train the right candidate)
- Experience with Sprout Social or comparable social management tools
- Adobe Illustrator or other Creative Suite tools
- Multi-client or agency background
