DDE Medicare Biller
LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading hospital in the northwest suburbs of Chicago to help staff a DDE Medicare Biller role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make an impact within the healthcare sector.
DDE Medicare Biller Responsibilities:- Submit Medicare claims using the Direct Data Entry (DDE) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and follow up on unpaid or denied claims and make necessary adjustments or corrections
- Monitor and reconcile patient accounts for outstanding balances and discrepancies
- Stay current with Medicare billing guidelines and ensure all billing practices are compliant
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and provide billing-related support
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers and payers regarding claims and billing inquiries
- 2+ years of Medicare billing experience required, with expertise in the DDE system
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations, Medicare coding, and reimbursement practices
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume billing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
