Part Time Hours Available starting after 6PM, Between Monday - Sunday

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the surgical center including patient rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Follow strict protocols for infection control and ensure all areas are disinfected according to healthcare standards.
- Properly handle and dispose of biohazard waste.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and other necessary items.
- Clean and maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as periodic deep cleaning and waxing.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with setting up rooms for surgeries and other procedures as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Understanding of safety and health regulations, particularly those related to infection control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication skills.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
