Why Join Us? * Top Pay for ASE Certified Technicians * Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision * Retirement Savings: 401(k) with Employer Match * In-House Training & Mentorship programs to enhance your skills * Career Growth Opportunities: We promote from within * Work-Life Balance: Five-day workweek (Monday–Friday) * Positive Work Environment: Friendly, professional, and collaborative team Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, in line with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications * Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to assess vehicle components and systems * Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and more * Communicate with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about repair progress and any additional work needed, providing estimates for time and cost * Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines * Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent * Skills: Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting abilities; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Experience: Prior automotive repair experience, particularly with used cars, preferred * Communication: Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members * Work Ethic: Positive, friendly attitude, and eagerness to continuously learn and improve * Collaboration: Team-oriented with the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment * Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Auffenberg of Carbondale is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
