Compliance Specialist (Financial Risk Business Analyst)

About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist with strong Financial Business Analysis experience to join the Financial & Non-Financial Risk Engineering team , focusing on financial risk initiatives. This role supports the sunset of legacy platforms and the migration to a new, modernized risk data platform.

The role requires expertise in regulatory frameworks, financial risk types, and translating business needs into functional and data requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Financial Business Analyst (60-65% of the role), with supporting responsibilities in data analysis.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Technology teams to gather and translate business requirements.
• Support financial risk reporting across Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Model Risk domains.
• Analyze regulatory reporting requirements, including SCCL, RWA, FRTB.
• Perform data mapping and functional analysis related to risk data models.
• Participate in Agile delivery cycles and support sprint planning as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience working in the banking or financial services industry .
• Strong background in financial risk management : Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Model Risk.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks : SCCL, RWA, FRTB.
• Understanding of BCBS239 and RDARR guidelines.
• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis (not a data engineering role).
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale enterprise initiatives .

Nice to Have

• Exposure to non-financial risk domains (GRC, operational risk, enterprise risk).
• Prior involvement in data platform modernization or legacy system migration initiatives.
