INTERNAL Warehouse General Laborer

Job Summary

The Internal Warehouse General Laborer will perform a variety of essential manual tasks within the Kraft Heinz warehouse facility to support the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products. This role is critical in maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products from trucks, conveyors, and other equipment using appropriate manual or mechanical methods (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Move goods to designated areas within the warehouse, including storage racks, production lines, and shipping zones.
• Stack and organize products efficiently and safely according to established procedures and inventory management systems.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials and products as required.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified and required), and other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and operational goals.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects frequently, often up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods during a shift.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
