Senior Accountant
Kforce's client, a leading, privately held firm located in the Chicago, (IL) area is seeking a Senior Accountant with international accounting experience to support month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance activities within a growing accounting team. This role partners closely with finance and operations and contributes to process improvements across the function. The client offers salary and benefits, and a team environment culture. This position will be one day a week in the office on Thursdays. Key Responsibilities:
- Senior Accountant will lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Support cash management and treasury activities
- Assist with account registrations, renewals, and compliance documentation
- Apply revenue recognition standards (ASC 606); ASC 842 exposure a plus
- Use ERP and reporting tools (Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI preferred)
- As a Senior Accountant, you will support multi-entity and/or international accounting needs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- CPA preferred, not required; 2-3 years of accounting experience
- ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive
- Collaborative and able to manage competing priorities
- Professional with discretion handling sensitive information
- Professional services, multi-entity, or international experience preferred
