Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer II with a strong foundation in sustainable design practices and expertise in plastic injection molded part design. Experience using Creo Parametric is a big plus.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.

• Plastic injection molded part design

• Advanced knowledge of plastic injection molded part design in Creo Parametric.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment

• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.

• Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.

• Provide design information to drafting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling in Creo.

• Knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.

• Proficiency in drafting, FEA, product testing, and understanding of electromechanical systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
