Experienced Medical Aesthetician

Bloom Plastic Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aesthetician with an existing book of business to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is a polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced, boutique clinical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences. We are looking for someone who is intrinsically motivated, goal-oriented, and team-focused—a consummate professional who will procure and connect with patients, collaborate with providers, and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality treatments, including, but not limited to:

Pre- and post-surgical skincare

Diamond Glow facial & body treatments

Chemical peels (ViPeel experience preferred)

Facials, extractions, waxing, and dermaplaning

Laser hair reduction, Photo rejuvenation, and Vascular laser treatments

Conduct in-depth skin consultations, provide product recommendations, and design daily skincare regimens.

Follow up with post-procedural patients to support outcomes and build lasting relationships.

Ensure treatment spaces and equipment meet sterilization and cleanliness standards.

Assist with product and backbar supply inventory, identifying trends and reorder points.

Collaborate with Dr. Bloom and mid-level providers to establish reciprocal referrals and comprehensive care.

Manage scheduling, patient records, and accurate treatment documentation within EMR/PMS systems.

Maintain expert-level product knowledge; train and support staff on skincare lines.

Contribute to practice and personal growth through scorecard tracking, business development, and patient engagement.

Maintain an active personal Instagram presence by creating a minimum of four on-brand posts or stories each week, while collaborating with the Bloom Plastic Surgery business account to support practice visibility and engagement.

Actively participate in planning and executing practice events.

Qualifications

Licensed Aesthetician with 3+ years of experience in an aesthetics or medical spa environment.

Proven book of business with established patient relationships.

Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, and email interactions.

Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.

Comfortable with technology, EMR/PMS systems, and accurate documentation.

Commitment to professionalism, empathy, and patient-first care.

Important Details

Locations: Chicago and/or Hinsdale, IL

Position Type: We will consider Full-time if available to work at both offices and can matain 85% schedule utilization.

1 part-time individual per location, with the potential to increase to full-time hours after demonstrating 85%+ time utilization.

Compensation: Competitive commission, 401k upon eligibility, PTO (Full-Time), comprehensive medical benefits (Full-Time) + growth opportunities
