Delivery Driver

The Journal Star, Peoria

$18.00 per hour

Gannett Publishing Services, located in Peoria, IL at The Journal Star, is recruiting for a part-time Driver. This position involves loading carts and pallets and delivering items to our distribution destinations. The schedule can include varied nights, hours, and shifts from week to week including weekends and holidays. Must be able to work a shift between 8 pm and 6 am.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily papers and products to distribution areas.
• Load, unload, inspect & stage newsprint, preprints, commercial print products, and other materials.
• Various other miscellaneous duties.
  
  

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record. Good verbal & written communication skills, and mechanical aptitude required. DOT physical and drug screen required.

Education

GED/High school diploma
