Position Summary

Open positions for full and part-time non-medical homemakers to provide essential in-home assistance and companionship to elderly and disabled individuals, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This position involves providing personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and support with daily activities—without the provision of medical or nursing care.

• Key Responsibilities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (as appropriate).
• - Provide companionship and social engagement to reduce isolation.
• - Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dusting, and dishwashing.
• - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
• - Assist with mobility and transferring (e.g., from bed to chair).
• - Escort clients to appointments, errands, or community activities, as assigned.
• - Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to supervisors.
• - Encourage clients to adhere to medication schedules (reminder only, not administration).
• - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client interactions.
• - Follow client care plans and respect client preferences and privacy.
• Qualifications
• - High school diploma or GED preferred.
• - Prior experience in caregiving or human services strongly preferred.
• - Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• - Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks safely.
• - Must pass background check and health screening as required by state regulations.
• - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Working Conditions
• - Work is performed in clients’ private homes, which may include varied environments.
• - Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• - May involve occasional exposure to pets, smoking, or allergens in client homes
