At Sparkle Express Car Wash, we believe great maintenance is the engine behind great service. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on District Maintenance Technician to support five express exterior locations across Central Illinois.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in fixing what matters, thinking critically under pressure, and keeping operations running at a high level.

Keep the Shine Running:

You’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment uptime, preventing downtime, and supporting operations across: Ottawa, Peru, Morton, Macomb, East Peoria.

This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring quick response, strong mechanical skill, and ownership of repairs.
(Travel between locations is required — company vehicle provided.)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on car wash systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components.
• Respond quickly to downtime issues and restore wash functionality.
• Diagnose and repair motors, bearings, sprockets, gas shocks, air cylinders, and related systems.
• Support multiple locations while working independently and efficiently.
• Partner with site managers to ensure smooth daily performance.

Ideal candidates have experience with:

• Low and high voltage electrical systems.
• Minor plumbing repairs.
• Bearings, sprockets, gas shocks, air cylinders.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Pay, Bonus & Benefits:

• $22–$23/hour starting pay (based on experience).
• Up to $750/month performance bonus (up to $9,000/year).
• Medical insurance available after 90 days.
