Production Associate

**Job Title:** **Forklift Operator** **Location:** East Moline, IL **Shift:** 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM **Pay:** $16-$18 per hour **Job Overview** We are seeking a motivated **Forklift Operator** to join our team in East Moline, IL. In this role, you will support production operations by moving and preparing copper tubing and pipes for shipment to major retailers. This position offers stability and opportunities for growth within a well-established company. **Responsibilities** + Safely operate a forklift to move pipe to designated pick locations. + Pull orders accurately and efficiently. + Bar code and label pipes. + Bundle and wrap pipes securely for shipment. + Cut pipes according to specifications. + Segregate and identify scrap materials. + Assist with unloading trucks and loading outbound shipments. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience in production or general labor. + Proficiency with hand tools and machine operation. + Knowledge of inventory, loading, and unloading procedures. + Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and assembly processes. + Ability to label and package products accurately. **Additional Qualifications** + Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. + Comfortable handling physical tasks in varying temperatures. **Why Work With Us?** + Consistent 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM). + Opportunities for growth and advancement-even with minimal experience. + Production incentives available after training and cross-training. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
