They will process and audit vouchers, review invoices for payment, input accounts payable related data, handle travel invoices and disaster invoices, and review voucher processing as needed. Job Responsibilities

1. Assists with tasks required for audits and the processing of revolving fund payments, and all types of payments and vouchers including but not limited to:

• Travel vouchers
• Contractual payments
• Disaster payments
• Grant transmittal logs

2. Processes transactions using both federal and state funds with System Application and Products (SAP) and IEMA-OHS internal systems and workflows.

3. Performs account reconciliations using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, SAP and Comptroller reports:

• Works with internal and external employees and partners to resolve account issues.

4. Organizes and maintains that all assigned documentation and files are securely maintained and follows the record retention policies.

5. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable and withing the scope of the duties enumerated above, and which may include supporting other agency functions for a disaster response.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college and completion of an approved training course, or three (3) years of related clerical bookkeeping experience.

• Qualifying state employees in the Upward Mobility Program shall have the stated requirements of this classification waived by successful completion of specific proficiency tests and training programs.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Two (2) years of experience with accounts payable functions. 2. One (1) year of experience with System Application and Products (SAP) including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. 3. One (1) year of experience in governmental accounting.

Conditions of Employment

1. Requires a criminal history check through the Illinois State Police.

2. Requires the ability to use state issued equipment such as cell phone or laptop. 3. Overtime is a condition of employment, and you may be requested or required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.
