This is an exciting and high-profile opportunity for our client company that is growing tremendously and is located in Skokie, Illinois.

• 3rd Shift Production Supervisor-Food Manufacturing
• Compensation is based on experience in the range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
• Hours are typically 10:30pm-7:30am (must be flexible to work Mon-Sun)

The 3rd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for directing all day-to-day shift activities within their departments. The Production Supervisor needs to manage continuous improvement projects, R&D, new product developments, CAPA (corrective action and preventive action), new hire development, associate accountability, associate performance reviews, audit documentation within batch order requirements, policies and procedures adherence, accident reports, operations efficiencies, and mange associates labor hours. Department includes multi-cultural non-union associates working in a 24/7 operations. Coordinates the production of goods within their area of the plant. Ensures machines are properly repaired and running efficiently to standard and maintains a focused motivated work force.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing leadership and training to team
• Identify Continuous and Process improvements
• Disciplinary Actions
• R&D new product development
• Monthly inventories
• New associate training
• Conduct Kaizen Events
• Conduct root cause analysis
• Conduct reviews for employees
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Proficiency in Spanish are required (and a deal breaker) for this position.

All of these are required and Non-negotiable.

• 3 or more years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
• HS Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Ability and willingness to coach/train associates
• Ability to communicate directly with your team in Spanish AND English without dependency on other employees or computer applications for translation. No exceptions to the language requirement.
• Detail oriented and results driven
• Ability to work required shift and to be available Monday-Sunday
• Stand/walk/lift for entire shift, as well as perform lifting of 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong computer skills used in a production/manufacturing environment.
