Essential Functions

• Serves as Licensing Compliance Chief
• Manages, monitors, and evaluates foster home licensure information reflected within the daily SACWIS system report to ensure that licensed foster homes are reported to DCFS and the appropriate POS agency
• Serves as working supervisor
• Provides analysis of Departmental foster home licensing programs and makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency
• Provides input into the development of training programs and functions as a trainer for new program techniques/initiatives and policy/procedural changes for DCFS and POS staff regarding licensure
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated
  above

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in social work or a related human services field from a recognized college or university.
• Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR four years of
  progressively responsible administrative experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in the issuance, denial, and revocation of licenses for professional services.
• 3 years of management experience in a professional business or public agency.
• 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a public or private organization.
• 3 years of professional experience developing corrective action plans in a public or private organization.
• 3 years of professional experience conducting program monitoring in a public or private organization.

• Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.

• Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.

  of State that will be made available for examination and copying by the public. All employees required to file a Statement of
  Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics
  Commission. (See Executive Order 15-09) Fines and penalties apply to untimely filings.
