Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finisher / Polisher to join our team. This role is

responsible for finishing high-end metal components to precise aesthetic and functional standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, has a strong eye for detail, and is experienced in

working with brass, bronze, and other architectural metals.

Key Responsibilities

• Polish, buff, sand, and finish metal components to specified finishes (satin, mirror, oil-rubbed, etc.)
• Prepare surfaces for finishing, including cleaning and smoothing
• Maintain consistency and quality across production batches
• Work with a variety of tools and equipment (buffers, polishing wheels, hand tools)
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in metal finishing, polishing, or related trade (preferred)
• Experience with architectural hardware, custom metalwork, or luxury products is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Familiarity with different metal types and finishing techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
