Our client in the Sycamore, IL area is experiencing rapid growth, supplying essential engineered-to-order products to billion-dollar infrastructure projects and next-generation facilities. These positions play a vital role to ensure ensures safe, efficient production while leading a team to meet objectives and maintain quality standards. It provides opportunities for leadership in process improvements and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.

• Anticipate $70,000 - $90,000 annually (non-exempt)
• Benefits include: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, 401K w/ match
  
• 5x10s, M-F (50+ hours per week), overtime required (1st shift, typically 5/6am start time)

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety guidelines, conduct walks/observations, and promote compliance
• Set production objectives, organize workflows, and suggest efficiency improvements
• Supervise team, provide coaching/discipline, and conduct performance reviews
• Resolve production/HR issues, ensure maintenance/repairs, and maintain clean/organized areas
• Establish cross-training and ensure adherence to procedures

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school; or 3-5 years related experience/training
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Lean manufacturing background
• Excellent planning, organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking)
