Quality Control and Compliance Associate – DuPage Credit Union

This is a Monday–Friday position, offering an accuracy-driven work environment.
As a Quality Control and Compliance Associate, you will contribute to our success by:
- Conducting Loan Quality Audits – Perform detailed pre- and post-closing audits on first mortgage and home equity loans to ensure compliance with Fannie Mae guidelines, secondary market requirements, and internal Credit Union standards.
- Ensuring Fannie Mae & Regulatory Compliance – Evaluate loan files in accordance with Part D of the Fannie Mae Seller’s Guide, Anti-Predatory Lending, ATR/QM, Flood Insurance, HMDA, TILA, and other applicable regulations to ensure full adherence and accurate reporting.
- Preparing Compliance & Quality Reports – Create monthly audit tracking and vendor management reports, summarizing findings, identifying trends, and collaborating with management to implement timely corrective actions.
- Managing Vendor Relationships – Coordinate secure file transfers, oversee third-party audit vendors, and ensure timely completion of reviews that meet Credit Union and Fannie Mae quality control standards.
- Supporting Membership & Consumer Audits – Review new memberships and consumer lending portfolios for compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP requirements; collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 2+ years of experience in lending quality control, compliance, or mortgage auditing.
- Strong working knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines, secondary market requirements, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with consumer and mortgage lending regulations, including TILA, HMDA, ATR/QM, Flood Insurance, and Fair Lending.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
