Project Overview: 2-story residential building | 36 units

North Arrow Partners & Turnstone Development are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for The Blackstone , a ground-up senior residential project in Du Quoin, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organization, schedule control, and subcontractor coordination to deliver milestones safely and on time.

Minimum Requirement (Inquiries Only)

✅ Must have 5+ years of residential, ground-up new construction superintendent experience.
(Only candidates meeting this requirement will be considered.)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site operations from start through closeout
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors; manage sequencing and manpower
• Maintain and drive the project schedule , milestone tracking, and look-aheads
• Read and interpret plans/specs , coordinate RFIs, and resolve field issues
• Enforce jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and site policies
• Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets quality standards and code requirements
• Track deliveries, materials, and site logistics; maintain clean, organized jobsite
• Communicate clearly with the development team, trades, and inspectors
• Document daily progress, photos, reports, and field coordination notes

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Residential Ground-Up Superintendent (required)
• Strong blueprint reading and plan/spec interpretation
• Knowledge of local building codes , inspections, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills, documentation habits, and problem-solving ability
