Job Summary : This position is within the Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) division at Quadax, which provides revenue cycle management to medical laboratories and other healthcare practices. The Director of Reimbursement Management & Analytics will lead a team that performs Reimbursement Management and Business Intelligence functions to improve the financial and operational performance of our clients. Reimbursement Management follows a proven methodology to manage accounts receivables, using dashboards and advanced analytics to identify, analyze, and resolve reimbursement issues throughout the revenue cycle process. The Business Intelligence team develops advanced analytics for Reimbursement Management and provides custom reporting solutions for our clients. The Director of Reimbursement Management & Analytics will be instrumental in achieving our goals in maximizing our clients' reimbursement and demonstrating Quadax as a market leader in revenue cycle management (RCM).
Responsibilities :
- Implement, refine, and maintain the Quadax Reimbursement Management Methodology through monthly revenue cycle analysis for clients. The methodology is a structured means to identify revenue opportunities from various billing processes.
- Lead and manage a team of Reimbursement Analysts and Reporting Analysts that work together to analyze reimbursement trends and develop dashboard solutions and reports for our clients.
- Provide briefs on the performance of specific steps within the revenue cycle process and document the findings from the analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for the Client Engagement team and, in some cases, present directly to our clients.
- Recommend actions through root cause analysis (RCA) to increase reimbursement and initiate process improvements with the Client Engagement and Operations teams.
- Measure the revenue opportunities and track reimbursement improvements to demonstrate the payback of recommended actions of Reimbursement Management.
- Compare client reimbursement and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) against client-specific and industry benchmarks.
- Promote new dashboards, new technologies, and provide guidance during the development of dashboards that will improve Reimbursement Management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Business Analytics or a related field. An advanced degree, such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal departments, including executive teams.
- Detail-oriented and logical thinker with excellent analytical skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage meet organizational objectives and goals.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Availability to travel to clients and conferences (current travel needs is less than 10% of the time).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in PowerBI and SQL.
- Previous experience in laboratory or general healthcare revenue cycle is strongly preferred but not required.
