Estate Planning Attorney / Senior Associate
Location: Wheaton, Illinois

Mission Recruiting is representing a well-respected law firm that is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney / Senior Associate to join its established Estate Planning Group. This role focuses on sophisticated estate planning, tax strategy, and administration for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on advanced estate planning and tax strategies
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills and trusts
- Manage estate and trust administration matters
- Provide business and tax advisory services
- Work directly with clients and professional advisors
- Build and maintain referral relationships
Qualifications
- J.D. and Illinois bar admission (or ability to obtain)
- 5–10+ years of estate planning experience
- Strong background in tax and wealth transfer planning
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Client-facing confidence and communication ability
Compensation
- Base salary: $150,000–$170,000+ DOE
- Bonus structure tied to collections
