Data Center Training Delivery Specialist, Join OCI
Job Description
Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Responsibilities
Deliver in person and e-learning training content for data center operations, covering mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, ensuring clear and engaging presentation to technicians, engineers, and operational staff.
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate scalable, accessible, and interactive training sessions, ensuring content is effectively delivered to diverse audiences.
Monitor and assess learner progress during training sessions, using post-training assessments and feedback mechanisms to evaluate comprehension and skill application.
Collaborate with training development teams and internal stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with operational needs, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles, incorporating hands-on demonstrations, virtual simulations, and interactive modules to enhance engagement and retention.
Support the implementation of training programs for data center commissioning, early access operations, and full turnover, ensuring staff are prepared for operational demands.
Regularly review and provide feedback on training content to ensure it remains current with industry standards, data center technologies, and emerging trends like liquid cooling or advanced automation.
Address training delivery challenges by adapting sessions in real-time, ensuring clarity and effectiveness for all participants.
Escalate issues related to training delivery, learner engagement, or resource constraints to the Training Director or senior leadership for resolution.
Contribute to process improvements in training delivery, leveraging LMS analytics to enhance learner outcomes and operational performance.
Use LMS data to generate reports on training engagement, completion rates, and contributions to technician competency, supporting Oracle's mission of excellence, transparency, and teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in training delivery, facilitation, or learning and development, with at least 2 years in data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure environments.Proven expertise in delivering technical training content for mechanical, electrical, or controls systems in high-stakes environments.
Preferred - Strong proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery, learner tracking, and performance reporting.
Deep understanding of learner engagement techniques, feedback mechanisms, and cross-functional collaboration in data center operations.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and operational protocols to deliver effective and relevant training sessions.
Willingness to travel to data center sites for training delivery, program support, or stakeholder engagements.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
