Optometric Patient Coordinator/Insurance Biller - Blue Island, Illinois

Position Overview:This is a full-time role in which you will primarily be responsible for managing patient appointments, verifying insurance authorizations, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The ideal candidate has a knack for customer service, excels in a fast-paced environment, and has experience with both medical and optical insurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring a friendly and professional environment.
- Greet patients upon arrival and check them in for their appointments with a warm smile.
- Verify medical and vision insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and manage Superbill forms efficiently.
- Educate patients on available services and packages, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of their options.
- Facilitate checkout, handle payments, and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Utilize Compulink software for managing patient records and enhancing operational efficiencies.
- Participate in end-of-day processing and cash reconciliation.

- Competitive hourly wage of $20-$25, based on experience, plus quarterly and yearly bonus potential.
