Job Description

This role involves working on real-time control systems for medical devices, primarily focusing on firmware development using C++. The position requires experience with embedded firmware and familiarity with regulatory standards for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for real-time control systems in medical devices.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in firmware development.

• Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to achieve project goals.

• Participate in software testing and cybersecurity measures.

• Contribute to the development and testing of code for websites as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in firmware development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C for embedded systems.

• Experience with medical device software and regulatory compliance.

• Familiarity with ICU or ISO standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity is desirable.

• Experience developing and testing code for websites is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

15% bonus based off of performance, must be hired before July 1 and will be paid out following March

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Wood Dale,IL.
