Medical Office Assistant / Clinical Assistant
Elite Endocrinology is hiring a Medical Office Assistant / Clinical Assistant
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a dual administrative and clinical role. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, maintaining efficient patient flow, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Position:
Full-time (part-time may be considered for a strong candidate)
Compensation:
$20–$24 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out, collect copays, and manage front desk operations
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Take and document vital signs accurately
- Chart patient information in EMR systems
- Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
- Assist with billing and charge entry
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
- Experience with EMR systems required
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience with insurance verification and medical billing processes
