Class A CDL Local Night Driver

Beast Mode Truckin is seeking Class A CDL drivers with at least 6 months recent experience for a local intermodal account based in the Chicago, IL area. This is a 100% no‑touch, drop‑and‑hook position offering predictable nightly runs with daily home time, consistent local lanes across the Midwest, and rapid access to full benefits.

  • Freight: 100% no‑touch intermodal trailers (majority drop‑and‑hook)
  • Operating area: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana (primarily Chicago‑based lane)
  • Schedule: Night shift with approximately 19:00 start; 5‑day work week with two days off; operations run seven days per week (weekend work required)
  • Typical mileage: Approximately 1,800 miles per week
  • Home time: Daily
• Compensation and benefits
  • $1,200–$1,400 per week(varies by miles and stops)
  • Base pay: $0.62 per mile
  • Night differential: $0.06 per mile
  • Weekend differential: $0.12 per mile
  • $20 per loaded dispatch

• Minimum qualifications
  • Age 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 6 months recent CDL driving experience
  • Fair driving record: no major accidents, major tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years; no DUI in the last 5 years
  • Not involuntarily terminated from most recent employment for cause
  • Consistent work history: generally a solid recent employment record (minimum 6 months employment in the last year and at least 1 year in the last 3 years)
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment urine and hair drug screens
  • Residence in or near the Chicago area is preferred; candidates outside the area who can reliably report for assigned shifts will be considered
• Preferred qualifications
  • Intermodal or drop‑and‑hook experience; equivalent recent local CDL experience will be considered
  • Familiarity with nighttime operations and regional Midwest lanes
