We are a fast-growing consumer products company behind two exciting brands sold across the US and globally
— JackInTheBox , a beloved kids' creative craft toy brand, and Unwynd , a premium DIY kit brand for adults built around the idea of 'zentertainment': switching off screens and creating something with your hands.
We're headquartered in Mumbai with 30+ team members and have built a $2M+ revenue business in the US entirely from overseas — through sheer product quality, Amazon excellence, and hustle. Now we're ready to put boots on the ground in the US and we need someone exceptional to be that person.
The Opportunity
This is not a typical job. You won't have a rigid role, a quiet inbox, or a predictable week. You'll be our first US hire — a generalist who can move fast, figure things out, and represent our brands with confidence in any room. You'll work directly with the founders and have real ownership over how we grow in the US market.

What You'll Do
Your work will span sales, business development, brand representation, and operational problem-solving. No two weeks will look the same.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with US retail buyers, distributors, and wholesale accounts
- Attend trade shows, toy fairs, gift expos, and retail exhibitions to represent JackInTheBox and Unwynd
- Pitch our products in person to retail decision-makers at chains, specialty stores, and independent retailers
- Own the follow-up pipeline — from first meeting to purchase order
Brand & Market Presence
- Be the face of our brands in the US — at events, in meetings, on calls
- Scout partnerships, collaborations, and co-marketing opportunities with aligned brands or influencers
- Gather on-the-ground market intelligence: what's working, what competitors are doing, what buyers want
Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate with our Chicago office and India-based team on logistics, inventory, and fulfilment
- Help set up and manage relationships with US-based 3PLs, freight partners, and compliance vendors
- Support Amazon operations: monitoring listings, managing seller support escalations, and identifying growth opportunities
Strategic Support
- Work directly with founders on US market entry strategy and execution
- Bring back structured feedback from the market to help make better product and pricing decisions
- Take on new problems as they arise — because they will
Who You Are
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a generalist startup role
- A self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do — you see a gap and fill it
- Comfortable pitching to strangers, following up relentlessly, and handling rejection without losing energy
- Genuinely excited about travel — trade shows, retailer meetings, and industry events are your arena
- Organised enough to manage a pipeline but flexible enough to drop everything when a priority shifts
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you think about the business, not just your task list
- Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and in person
- Bonus: experience in consumer products, toys, gifting, wellness, or Amazon / e-commerce
