MEP Senior Project Manager – Sports & Entertainment Construction | High-Profile Arena & Stadium Projects

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of MEP construction projects for sports arenas, stadiums, and entertainment venues from preconstruction through final closeout
- Coordinate mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems across complex, large-scale construction projects
- Oversee and manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, and multi-trade teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution
- Ensure full compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for commercial construction projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes for MEP deliverables
- Serve as primary point of contact for architects, engineers, general contractors, and project stakeholders
- Review and integrate MEP design documents, shop drawings, and construction submittals
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and conflicts in MEP system coordination
- Mentor and develop junior project managers, engineers, and construction professionals
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor MEP installation progress and quality
- Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status to senior leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
- Minimum 7+ years of proven experience managing MEP systems on large-scale, complex commercial construction projects
- Comprehensive technical knowledge across all MEP disciplines: mechanical (HVAC), electrical power and lighting, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Demonstrated experience with fast-tracked, high-expectation construction projects; sports and entertainment arena, stadium, or venue experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple trades, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders concurrently
- Proficiency with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and MEP coordination platforms
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and MEP coordination software preferred
- PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or PE licensure is a plus
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
