Real Estate Legal Assistant

LaSalle Network is seeking a driven Real Estate Legal Assistant to join a busy and growing commercial real estate practice in Chicago. This direct-hire opportunity puts you at the center of complex real estate deals, supporting attorneys from contract review through closings. What You’ll Do:

• Review, edit, and format commercial real estate documents using Word and Excel

• Submit new matters, run conflict checks, and coordinate intake processes

• Manage daily time entry and assist with billing workflows

• Support attorneys throughout commercial real estate closings

• Compile closing binders, track post-closing items, and manage deliverables

• Create PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and internal reporting

• Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information

• Handle attorney scheduling, travel logistics, meetings, and expense reporting

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of legal or commercial real estate administrative experience

• Experience with commercial real estate closings is required

• Strong Microsoft Office skills; iManage/Aderant preferred

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability

• Strong communication and client-service skills

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

• High school diploma required, additional education or certifications a plus
