Production Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $20.51/hour ($19.51 base + $1.00 shift differential)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Production Machine Operators to support safe, efficient, and high-quality food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

• Set up, change over, adjust, repair, and operate production machinery and equipment on all shifts.

• Ensure all equipment is in proper operating condition and ready for on-time startup.

• Make necessary machine and process adjustments to maintain consistent product flow.

• Perform process control checks and quality inspections.

• Operate date coders and verify accurate code dates on cases.

• Clean and sanitize equipment using current sanitation practices.

• Assist Quality Assurance with product sampling and other related duties as needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Basic communication skills in English.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in temperature ranges Hot or Cold

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 13 hours per shift.

• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including continuous standing for 10-13 hours.
