Training Seminar - Family Businesses
The aim of this CPE accredited training seminar is to aid family businesses understand better their obligations and to be aware of the services offered for the betterment of their operations. The collaboration between the MBR and the Family Business Office, will delve into structures and requirements of family businesses and provide better understanding to practitioners that service them.
Family Business Incentives and the Role of the Regulator
A generic overview of incentives offered to family businesses and the role of the Family Business Office and its Regulator, in relation to governance support, innovation and skills.
Incentives
A presentation demonstrating the fiscal incentives in relation to family business, including transfers, management of assets and immovable property, shares interest, leases, financial resilience, tax obligations and succession.
Succession Planning
A presentation highlighting the process and strategy for replacement planning and the passing on of leadership roles, with the intention of identifying and developing new, potential leaders.
Forms with the MBR, Case Studies & Self-Assessment Tool
To delve into commitments abided by law towards the MBR particularly the submission of forms as well as a thorough explanation on the recently launched self-assessment tool aimed at avoiding insolvency. A number of case studies will be presented as further demonstration.
