Arcadis is seeking a Market Intelligence Strategist to join our Places Infrastructure team. This role is remote and can performed anywhere in the United States.

Role description:

As a Market Intelligence Strategist you will support the profitable growth of sales of the US BA Places team by leading research and external market intelligence communications on behalf of the core Services and Solutions. Partner with the Market Sector leaders to develop strategic insights for client planning and develop market relevant content to be share with Market Sectors and Clients as part of market-to-opportunity efforts for key pursuits and strategic growth initiatives in the US market. Combine thought leadership, innovation, strategic research, business research and market intelligence to support development of the Arcadis brand and business through the provision of best-in-class research, analysis and insight.

Role accountabilities:

• Developing and managing resources within the US Places team to develop and deliver market a intelligence plan in support of US Places business goals, aligned to Market to Opportunity and Deliver to Results requirements.
• Production of high quality, high impact market insight reports and thought leadership aligned with the plan.
• Delivering market intelligence research projects to high standards using established tools and techniques.
• Working with key functions within Arcadis to ensure the capture of demonstrable benefit from market intelligence research projects, aligned to Arcadis value creation.
• Development of metrics to assess performance in the capture and utilization of data and market intelligence within the business.
• Supporting project delivery in the capacity of subject matter expert or research specialist.
• Work together with sector leaders, account leaders and solution leaders and core pursuit team members/ partners to maximize the prepositioning of Arcadis with our Key Clients and for Strategic Pursuits.
• Work with BA Director and BA Pursuits Director to lead the development of market facing insights to address Arcadis' target sectors and key clients.
• Development of market intelligence solutions to increase business impact and return on investment, focused particularly on digital and on the utilization of global resources.
• Lead a diverse internal pursuit team, setting objectives, managing performance and ensuring that staff have necessary skills to deliver pursuit and organizational objectives.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Proven ability to execute a program of market insight.
• A knowledge of and ability to develop new strategic elements - responding to developments in data analytics and visualization.
• Able to lead the implementation of new practice associated with market insight.
• In-depth knowledge of issues associated with the development of market intelligence programs - ability to advise and influence non-specialist senior managers.
• A track record in research and/or thought leadership in areas related to the creation and operation of built and natural assets, including use of research and consulting tools.
• The ability to understand the needs of clients in multiple sectors.
• The ability to inspire confidence as a recognized expert in the field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the operation of the markets in which Arcadis operates, showing familiarity with industry structure, procurement strategy, major players, common sources of data etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10 or more years' relevant work experience.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $200,100.
