We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide remote services for an Illinois school district. This opportunity involves supporting an 11th-grade student with autism who is currently receiving homebound instruction and requires compensatory services.

Due to prior challenges with virtual screen engagement, services will begin in a consultative model , with a primary focus on coaching the parent to implement strategies and support the student effectively.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Through End of Current School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week
• Extended School Year (ESY): Approximately 1.5 hours per week
• 2026–2027 School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week anticipated
• Service Model: Virtual consultative support
• Current School Year: Collaboration with onsite providers as needed
• ESY: Fully virtual
• Parent and district would like to meet with the provider prior to the start of services
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience working with school-aged students preferred
• Experience supporting students with autism preferred
• Strong communication and parent coaching skills
• Comfortable providing teletherapy and consultative services
