Mortgage Business Compliance Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced mortgage compliance business lead role. This role will lead and participate in stand-up meetings with both Technology and Business Partners to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and implementation of requirements of various past, ongoing, and future projects for mortgage compliance.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery for mortgage business for compliance related projects
- Responsible for developing business requirements and related business rules based on Business Group needs.
- Work closely with the Business Partner and Business Subject Matter Expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements.
- Identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit requirements through interviews, surveys, workshops, trainings, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
- Responsible for training users as well as passing key business product knowledge and understanding to IT Management, Support, and Development teams.
- Responsible for maintaining all current needs for mortgage compliance requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong mortgage software support background (4+ Years). LOS, Pricing Engines, Doc Vendors.
- Solid understanding of the latest mortgage compliance measures (HMDA, LE, CD, LO Comp, TRID, ATR/QM, etc..).
- Strong understanding of mortgage business reporting and workflow for Sales, Operations, and Management.
- Strong background working as part of a cohesive IT Team.
- Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of mortgage customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
- Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
- Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
- Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
- Willing and able to travel to company facilities to meet with business groups as needed.
- Must have college degree
- Must be in Chicago area or willing to relocate to Chicago
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year
