Engineer
Job Description
This global hotel company is looking for a Gen AI Engineer to support their enterprise search engine and agents. This is a Gen AI product that answers questions for their internal systems, legal policies, etc. This internal agentic search engine retrieves documents and gathers insights from the company's internal data to respond to colleague inquires. For the agents there is a prototype in place, so this engineer will increase scope and scalability as the agent needs to interact with other agents in other systems such as ChatGPT where the data models hosted by Open AI.

Translate the company's ML strategy into actionable team roadmaps and deliverables.

Assist with architecture decisions and system design reviews; lead delivery of ML infrastructure and services using AWS-native tools.

Ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of AI systems by partnering with data architecture, governance, and security teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, product owners and architects to enable end-to-end algorithmic product development.

Prioritize, scope, and sequence technical projects in alignment with business priorities and team bandwidth - Influence engineering planning processes and reporting; champion Agile best practices.

Skills and Requirements

5- 6+ years of experience in machine learning or MLOps roles, including 3+ years of people management experience in a tech leadership role.

Experience in NLP/NLU and fine-tuning and deploying LLMs or other Generative AI solutions to production.

Familiarity with deploying RAG or any other retrieval framework, working on RAG architecture

Expertise in AWS cloud services (e.g., SageMaker, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, Lambda, Glue, BedRock).

Creating agentic designs

Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL, PySpark, and containerization (e.g., Docker).

Proven experience designing scalable data pipelines and ML systems for both real-time and batch inference.

Deep understanding of MLOps/CI-CD pipelines, Agile development practices, and model lifecycle management.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong bias for action and collaboration.

Familiarity with ML observability tools and responsible AI practices.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Ph.D preferred. - Background in Gen AI Engineering for internal systems supporting corporate employees
