About Slips Hideaway
Slips Hideaway is an elevated dining and drink destination where guests can dock their boats, enjoy handcrafted cocktails, and soak in the beauty of the lake. We offer a refined, relaxed atmosphere with a focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality. We are building a standout bar team to deliver a memorable marina experience from day one.
What Youll Do
- Craft highquality cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and specialty beverages
- Provide warm, attentive, and professional bar service
- Engage with guests seated at the bar
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Follow all alcohol service laws and ID verification procedures
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle POS transactions and manage tabs accurately
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and opening/closing duties
Who Were Looking For
- Prior bartending experience required (upscale, craft cocktail, or highvolume experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail building, and bar techniques
- Excellent communication and guestservice skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Professional, polished presence
- Must meet Illinois age requirements for alcohol service
- Ability to obtain Basset Training Certification
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and peak lakeseason days
