Coordinator Japan Desk (Oakbrook Terrace)
About the Company
Our client, the automotive industry leader, is seeking a Coordinator Japan Desk to join their team. As a Coordinator Japan Desk, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the Japan Desk team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
About the Role
Job Title: Coordinator Japan Desk
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid in office three days per week)
Pay Rate: $24
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities
- Support customer inquiries related to vehicle purchase, service, and customer experience areas, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.
- Communicate effectively with dealers via email and phone, providing guidance and support throughout the customer journey.
- Assist with the coordination of vehicle financing, leasing, and resale processes for expatriates and local customers.
- Lead training sessions for new team members, sharing best practices and operational procedures to ensure team success.
- Create and maintain comprehensive operational manuals to standardize processes and promote long-term team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Fluent in Japanese (speaking, reading, writing, listening) with mastery of Japanese business etiquette.
- Proficient in English (intermediate to proficient level) for effective communication with internal teams and dealer partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
